What we do at Salt + Vine.
Fine Wine
We will stock primarily New World fine wines from California, Oregon, Washington State, Pennsylvania, Virginia and New York. We will also stock Old World favorites from countries like France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Greece, Moldova and others to try or pair best with your favorite cuisine. In-store consumption is encouraged - no corkage fee. Hang out and let’s talk wine!
Private Events
We are happy to host private gatherings at Salt + Vine, including collaborative dinners with local restaurants. You may book the space for up to four (4) hours, daily when we’re open. Reach out via our contact form below - please give us a minimum of a week’s notice in advance so we can notify other customers of the shop’s availability locally.
Merchandise
We are all about the enjoyment of our fine wines, craft beer and cider selections virtually anywhere. Our merchandise will help facilitate that experience for you - we will test & vet the best on-beach and outdoors gear so you can enjoy our offerings on any of our beautiful Carolina beaches and parks (as local law allows).
Select Craft Beer/Cider
Rotating tap(s) as new and cool local brews become available. We will stock favorites from around the World in store. We like beer & cider too! Let us know what you like, and we’ll try to get it for you to keep in store when you’re in town.
Wine Club
Who doesn’t love a good wine club? For order and pickup in store. We will provide a 10% discount on retail pricing for all bottles purchased through the club. You’ll get four (4) bottlers per month of fine wine varietals not available to the broader public through Salt + Vine. We will also offer discounts on merchandise.
Snacks
Great snacks and foods go with great wine, well…..greatly. We offer a selection of pre-packged snack items to consume in store, or take with you on the go along with one (or more!) of our bottles. There may even be a slushy machine in the summer. So come hang out, enjoy a drink and some well paired snacks to go along, and enjoy Salt + Vine!
In-store Tastings
We offer in-store tasting of select wines daily. Check our event calendar or Facebook Page to get more information on what we’re sampling on a given day. Or simply come by the shop and ask! We also will have a Red Flight, White Flight and from time to time seasonal Flights of select wines we want to feature in the store. There is so much to explore - come experience the world of wine with us!
Live Music
At Salt + Vine, we love music (see Hi-Fi section below). We will have live local acts perform in store weekly in our cozy and comfortable atmosphere - check out our calendar below for dates & details.
Hi-Fi Music & Screenings
Rotating Hi-Fi gear - speakers, integrated amplifiers, and turntables will be playing a soundtrack (not too loud!) to enhance your store experience. Sit down, grab a drink and decompress to one of our customized playlists. If there’s something you like, just ask. We will strive to put it in rotation. From time to time we will screen wine-focused content through our industry partnerships - V for Vino, Somm, and others.
